Privacy Policy

Moonshot is a product of Kaizynn (“Kaizynn”, “we”, “us”), based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. This policy explains what we collect and why. For privacy questions or data requests, email hi@kaizynn.com.

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We use these to identify your account and personalize the app — nothing else.

When you upload a video, we store the file in our private storage to run the AI pipeline (transcription, captions, b-roll, music, sound effects) and to render your final export. Your videos are never shared with third parties or used to train models.

When you purchase a subscription, our payment processor Paddle collects your billing details and payment method. We receive your subscription status, plan, and an order reference from Paddle — we never see or store your full card number.

We log standard request data (IP, user agent, timing) for security and rate-limiting only.

• Google OAuth — sign-in only. We never see your password.
• Paddle.com Market Ltd — our Merchant of Record; processes all payments, invoicing, and sales tax. See Paddle's Privacy Notice.
• FirstPromoter — records referral attribution so we can credit partners who introduce customers to Moonshot.
• Google Cloud Platform — hosting, storage, and the render pipeline.
• Deepgram — speech-to-text on your uploaded audio. Audio is processed and discarded.
• Google Gemini — generates the punchy hook line and picks emphasis words from your transcript.
• Pexels — sources royalty-free b-roll based on extracted keywords.

Project files (uploaded video, transcript, rendered MP4) are kept for 30 days after creation, after which they are deleted. You can request earlier deletion at any time by emailing us.

Account data (name, email) is kept until you delete your account.

Payment and invoice records are retained by us and by Paddle for up to 7 years where required to meet tax and accounting obligations, even after account deletion.

Security logs are deleted automatically within 90 days.

You can request export or deletion of your personal data at any time. We comply with GDPR and CCPA requests within 30 days. EEA/UK residents may also lodge a complaint with their local data-protection authority.

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. Paddle may set cookies necessary to operate the secure checkout. FirstPromoter stores a referral identifier when you arrive through a partner link so we can attribute a later signup or purchase. We do not run third-party advertising scripts.
