1. What we collect
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We use these to identify your account and personalize the app — nothing else.
When you upload a video, we store the file in our private storage to run the AI pipeline (transcription, captions, b-roll, music, sound effects) and to render your final export. Your videos are never shared with third parties or used to train models.
We log standard request data (IP, user agent, timing) for security and rate-limiting only.
2. Third-party services
- Google OAuth — sign-in only. We never see your password.
- Deepgram — speech-to-text on your uploaded audio. Audio is processed and discarded.
- Google Gemini — generates the punchy hook line and picks emphasis words from your transcript.
- Pexels — sources royalty-free b-roll based on extracted keywords.
- Paddle — handles payment processing for paid plans. We never see your card details.
3. How long we keep your data
Project files (uploaded video, transcript, rendered MP4) are kept for 30 days after creation, after which they are deleted. You can request earlier deletion at any time by emailing us.
Account data (name, email) is kept until you delete your account. Billing records are kept for the duration required by tax law (typically 7 years).
4. Your rights
You can request export or deletion of your personal data at any time. We comply with GDPR and CCPA requests within 30 days.
5. Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not run any third-party analytics or tracking scripts.
6. Changes
We'll update this page if our practices change and notify signed-in users by email for any material change.
