Terms of Service

Moonshot is a product of Kaizynn (“Kaizynn”, “we”, “us”). By using Moonshot you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account and purchase a subscription. By using Moonshot you confirm that you meet this requirement.

You keep all rights to videos you upload and to the edits we produce for you. We claim no ownership over your content. We need a limited licence to host and process your files for the sole purpose of providing the service to you.

You confirm that you have the rights to any video you upload. Don't upload content you don't own or that violates someone else's rights.

B-roll footage is sourced from Pexels under the Pexels License. You may use exported videos commercially without attribution.

• No illegal content, hate speech, or harassment.
• No attempts to reverse-engineer the service or scrape b-roll.
• No abuse of the API or attempts to exhaust shared resources.
• No deepfakes of real people without consent.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

All payments for Moonshot are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd and its affiliates (“Paddle”), our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all aspects of payment processing, invoicing, sales-tax/VAT compliance, and foreign exchange. When you buy a subscription, your contract for that purchase is with Paddle, and Paddle's Buyer Terms also apply at checkout.

Prices are shown on our Pricing page. Applicable taxes are calculated and displayed by Paddle at checkout based on your location.

Moonshot Pro is sold on three cadences — weekly, monthly, and yearly. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until you cancel.

• You can cancel anytime from your account or via the Paddle receipt link. On cancellation you keep Pro access until the end of the current billing period; we do not prorate refunds for the unused part of a period (except as set out in our Refund Policy).
• Upgrades take effect immediately and may be prorated. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing period.
• We'll email you in advance of any change to your renewal price.

Creating an account is free and requires no card. The free tier includes one video, up to two minutes long: you can upload it, transcribe it, edit the transcript and captions, and preview the result in the editor. Exporting or downloading a finished video requires a paid subscription, as do premium features such as behind-the-subject captions and AI scene thumbnails. You are only billed if you choose to subscribe.

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on new purchases. Full details, conditions, and how to request a refund are in our Refund Policy. Refunds are issued through Paddle to your original payment method.

We aim for high availability but provide no formal SLA at this stage. The service is provided “as is” without warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to any amount you paid us in the 3 months prior to the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where mandatory local consumer law in your country of residence applies. Billing and payment disputes are handled by Paddle as Merchant of Record.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated by email to signed-in users at least 14 days before taking effect.
